QV502

The QV502 is a basic MP3-based stereo sound module with volume-controlled line-level outputs. The Q502 can access up to 512 individual files. The control interface is RS232 (0-5V) by default but can be changed easily to other parallel or serial formats.
Product Applications
Memory card based players have found use in applications requiring long play time, especially of high quality stereo sound, and/or frequent replacement of the content.

Actual applications of the QV502 and derivatives have been carnival rides, airport and other transportation annunciators, electronic organ sound effects, slot machines, aircraft entertainment and annunciator systems, audio equipment POS demonstration, vegetable misters and many, many performance art applications.
